The Winter is over us, and some rebuilding and restoring is started on both cars. Both engines are taken appart and repaird. We desided to keep the same driveline on the ProMod Camaro for another year, and change from bruno to clutch in 2011.

The gooseneck is still for sale, and we are looking desperatly for a wilsontrailer.

The team is also in change, some news about the personell will soon be revield.

So the sesong is ended... This weekend we went to Mosten in Denmark, to participate at Mosten Raceday. But this last weekend of joy, transformed into a nice three days of rain. We got only one trip down the trac al weekend. On this we manage to be qual #3, and won 10 000 dkr in prizemoney.

Yet another Nitrolympx at Hockenheim is ended... The whole trip has been sided whit disaster,, At first the chevy pulling our goosneck broke down, then a flatt on the trailer, then a broken hose to the radiater in the dodge pulling Vics dragster. And at last we were pulled over by the polizei.. and realised that the laws on motorhomes isnt the same in germany as sweden, so Jimmy wasnt alowed to continue whit his bus.

Finaly we got to the track and build pitspace, in light rain. The 69-Camaro went trough the tech inspection, but not the dragster,,, the diper and gearbox-shield was back home in denmark. Tanks to PE Lindgren and Muller for lending us these.

Victoria lost fire in first round.. and in the next only a 9.04... and finaly on saturday she drove a 9.02 and manage to get the bump.. (qual 16). in first round at saturday evening she redlighted whit a 0.002 and was out.

Johnny drove 6.90 in first round then a shutoff in the 2nd. In third round the left rear caliper broke in the burnout and when johnny backed he hade no brakes, when his Crewcheif found oil on the track it was already to late and a few seconds later johnny backed in to Micke Lindahl, who stormed into Maurischat. Ofcourse as everybody anderstand this was an accident, and Johnny was NOT abel to do ANYTHING. We drive whit a lenco and bruno-converter, so we cant get the Camaro out of gear until it is standing still. And shut of the engine didnt helpt.

We are ofcourse very sorry about what happened, and are glad that no personal injuries accured. We are sad four our friends that their cars got damaged, but gladely we could se lindahl on the trac an hour later! And some of the members of Andy Robinsons team was hardworking in Marcos pit.

Johnny Camaro was not ready for the fourt and final qualification round, but was still qualified as 15, but on saturday afternoon Johnny, Marcus, Victoria, And Peter got sic in the flu... so he didnt drove the first round, at suterday evening. Whitch shold have been against Mats Eriksson,, who drove 6.096 and a new European RECORD. Congratulations to the whole team from us in SandRacing.

On sunday we saw some racing and then packed up and head for home... and our tripp ended in helsingor, Denmark on monday afternoon.

Went to Malmoe for testing the 69 Camaro at Power Street Finals, and somehow we became qual; 1 in the highest class. But a red light in the 2nd round was the end of this testweekend.

At the same time Mange was in Lindesberg, working on a dragbike for our friends from Norway. 

2009-08-02

For the Tsds event in gardermoen it was only Johnny and Mange, but whit som help from Jimmy Andersson and Lars "Bagarn" Olsson we manage to run anyway.. The friday was a totaly rainout, but at noon on saturday, the race began. In the first qual round we lost oilpressure and the engine was hardly damaged. Some hard hours of work, and replasement of a lots of parts and we were in again. Get qual 14 of 19 cars but then lost fire in first round,, and was out. But this weekend was al about getting our C1 licens, and so we did!  

2009-07-27

Another Veidec Festival has passed. This was the first "real" event for Victoria,, and she sure showed that she´s to count on. Qual 6 of sume 32 cars, at 8,93... Good dune. Then shut off by starter in first round due to a leaking watergasket. 

For Johnny it went worse. Due to a terribal accident where his wife were kicked by a horse, he came up late thursday and missed first two  (of tree) qualifikation rounds. Even so he maneged to get qualified at 6,81 (in competition) at an 7,27 index. Due to tireshake he lost first round to Petri Nagy... and the weekend was over.

But no complaints from us,,, almost good weather and good friends... so all included it was a great weekend. Photos are soon to come...

We all whish Micha to get well soon... we miss you at the trac!

A very nice and hot weekend at Meca Raceway is now ended. Due to ignition problems, and lac of spearparts the ProMod Camaro couldnt get out on the trac, so we all put our work into the SuperComp Dragster. This was Victorias first competiton, and the weekend is all about testing the car and learn about the trottlestop.

Victoria had 5,72 as best qulifikationtime, and a reaction at 0,001 sek, whit pro-three!!! So she showed everyone that she is capable to give enyone a good fight. Whit reactions like that nobody stand a chance.

Sadly she was the onlyone in the SC class, so only soloruns, but we made som good tests, and is all sadisfied anyway.

Congrats to Marina Andersson, Anette Birkenes and Christine Gaustad who all won their classes...

Now the weekend at Västerås is ended... got up late friday night, and built pit-space,, then early out of bed, to get the cars ready for race. Superhot weather al  weekend, but due to some timekilling cleanups, we only got two qualifikationrounds at saturday. A very bad track gave us and everybody else bad times but we manage to be qual #2. Victoria also finiched the last runs on her licens, and is now ready for Meca raceway next week! Sunday morning at first round we lost fire, du to a broken fuelpump... and the racing was over for johnny.... but gladly we secured 65 points for the hfp serie.

Congratulations to Marina Andersson for beeing qual #1 and winn the SuperComp class. She sure showed everybody that ex jr drivers is the future.

Also a special thanks to Åsa and Sanne for al the help whit vic`s testdriving.

Realised today that the C1 licens not will be ready until Veidec Festival, so we desided to run A/PM Competition at this years event... ofcourse Victorias SuperComp also will be seen on the trac...

Just got home from Thisted raceway, Denmark. We went there for Victoria to make her last runs on her license, but the examinator didnt show... Recived the information from DAZU that she can run on a "one-day" licens, and so we did. Everything went real good! Sadly after only 4 runs, someone blow their engine and laid down 1200 meters of oil on the trac, the norweigan rescue-team from Thunder valle, did their best and cleand 1000 meters, for three hours, and then they realised that they was´nt able to make it... good effert tho, good work guys! Then they have to shut down for this time... might also be a weatherproblem, rain was hanging just above us, and the wind was pretty stormy.

On victorias last run she went just below 9 sec, and 268 km/h!!! Just guess if she was happy. Johnny, you have to look out -the seat of the ProMod Camaro might be taken over in two years...

I have today refreshened our racecalender. We have decided to appear in Thisted, june 20, so victoria can make some more testruns whit her SuperComp. We are also going to apperar at one more event in Malmoe Sweden. See you one the tracs...  

2009-06-07

The first event of the year is now ended. We went to Gardermoen whit the Pro Mod Camaro. The weekend started whit trouble, and it came threeways. at first Nicholaj couldn´t come along due to his work, then we had a flatt tire on the trailer, just as we entered Norway. And on friday morning we hade two NOS hoses blownig, emptying two whole buttles.

But the rest of the weekend was al good... Good weather gave us four testruns on saturday, and we ended as qualification #1. On thees four runs we manage to get the car to run good and steady and all things that was rebilded during the winter is working properly. Sadly we broke the wheeliebars, but got them welded together again. Thanks to the guys at Olstad DragBike Team.

Sunday was even better as we ended up as WINNER in the final, against Tom Lundquist, (who was runing on our tiers al weekend). So now i´m glad to inform that we are leading the TTDS HFP series.

At last a great thanks to all personell at gardermoen raceway,,, and a special thanks to you guys who manage to get hold of a new tire for our trailer.

We couldnt geat ready to partisipate at Meca this weekend, but we havent been lazy,,,

We have now got the SuperComp painted, pictures are coming soon. It´s COOL, thake my word on that! The tent on our trailer has been widened, about four feet. We have also welded new headers for the Camaro, thanks to Jimmy for all the help. Also we have reatached the PG in the SuperComp, and testruns show us that it is runing great! Thanks to Nicklas Trenneman for that.

We have also been working on a lots of "smal" things, too get the trailer and camaro ready for gardermoen. 

2009-05-03 

The Test n Tune weekend at Meca Raceway is now ended. We went there so Victoria could make her first testruns whit her new car, and hopefully take her licens. Unluckely some parts to the car is still stuck in a container at the customs. So the friday night was spent on making the car run whit what we got. On saturday we manage to make 4 runs, then the intake gasket didnt wanted to cooperate no more... We seperated the engine and during the night we went to denmark to pick up a new gasket. Early sunday morning we put the engine together again, and it now runs like a clockwork! -But we sadly broke the gearbox instead. Due to a nasty crash on the track we desided to head for home, and make the last testruns at Gardermoen 6-7 june. The powerglide gearbox was delivered to Växellådsverkstaden Linelund, for repairing. We thanks Nicklas Trenneman for his support on a late sundayafternoon. We will also thanks Jimmy Andersson for his support during the weekend.

And at last we also want to pay our regards to Mattias Wulcan whit family, and hope he get well soon, and will come back to the tracks.

The SuperComp is now back from the bodypainter... bluemetallic chassie and yellow body. later we will paintbrush the body whit motiv schoosen by Victoria. The SuperComp is now all put together and ready for race. We are also sorry to inform that we will not be able to appeare in Thisted (16 may), and in Meca (29-31 may), whit the ProMod Camaro.

Today Victoria have compleated her licens-edukation, and been wrighting the test for upgrading her licens to a J16SC, so she can drive SuperComp this year. We have also desided that our first apearence will be at the Test´n Tune weekend, at Meca Raceway, Malmoe.

The new SuperComp has now arraived from the states, and we are up to our necks whit work...                 Next thing for us is going to Malmoe whit Victoria, so she can take her new race-licens, and then make some testruns in Malmoe or Gardermoen.

The PM Camaro engine is back in our garage, and soon put together in the car. We are also upgrading to a three stage NOS system.

The engineblock from the camaro ProMod is now at MMR in malmoe for retuning, and we´re supose to put it together again next week whit a new three-stage nos system. New size for the Sonny SemiHemi is 784 cui.

We have now bought a SuperComp Dragster in USA, for Victoria who is moving up from juniordragster this year. The 240 inch long SuperComp is build  by Miller Racecars in 2000, and equipt whit a 555 cui alky engine and a poweglide gearbox.

One of our old Juniordragster is sold to Norway. We wish Ingri all the best whit her new car... The second Junior is located in Eslöv, Sweden and still for sale.
